Dear Physician & Administrator,

Welcome to MediCo Unlimited, LLC's website.  I initially founded this company in January 2001 because physician practices like yours were unable to receive high quality strategic, financial, and operational advice without breaking the bank.

Additionally, as a large practice administrator, I found that most regional and national consulting firms employed advisors that had never actually worked in the medical field or held executive positions with physician groups. These multi-industry consulting firms tried to apply manufacturing or other service industry theories and analyses to the medical field, with marginal success.

With such turmoil surrounding physician practices and ambulatory surgical centers today, my hope is that physician practices begin to understand they are multi-million dollar enterprises, and begin to do what all such Fortune 500 corporations have done for years, hire external help that is uniquely qualified to help them succeed.  Embracing this concept is now a matter of financial viability for all healthcare entities, but especially for smaller healthcare practices.

My business model is a simple one; to build trust and have success MediCo Unlimited must always a) Do the right thing, and b) Do things right.  I learned this simple but difficult concept as a child, and then re-learned it during my graduate school days at The College of William & Mary's Mason School of Business in Virginia.

To help you understand how we accomplish these goals, I developed this site.  I have organized this site to help you easily navigate through our core services, products, and management tools (some free) that have generated millions of dollars for over 125 client organizations representing over 750 physicians and dentists in a five state area.  Our reach has recently expanded into the industrial and public school sectors of the economy.  Take some time to also review our healthcare community involvement in terms of seminars & presentations given and articles written for the benefit of physicians and administrators.

I hope your practice is humming right along.  However, sometimes the most devastating problem is "not knowing what you don't know". For example, if you don't know what the escheat law is in your state, you may be violating it.

You have my pledge that if you contact my firm on any issue, I will always steer you in the right direction, whether that means sending you to more qualified consultants, telling you how to fix the problem on your own, or recommending my services.  It's simply the right thing to do.

Sincerely,
Jeff Eckert, MBA, CFM, CMA
